Risk Warning for Investors
Equity crowdfunding investments are speculative and suitable only for investors who can bear the risk of losing their entire investment. Key risks include (not exhaustive):

  • Loss of capital (including total loss)

  • Illiquidity / limited exit options (shares may be difficult to sell)

  • Dilution from future fundraising

  • No dividends or delayed returns

  • Business failure risk typical of start-ups/early-stage companies

Investment limits and investor category

Investments are subject to SC-stated limits:

  • Sophisticated investors: no restriction

  • Angel investors: up to RM500,000 within a 12-month period

  • Retail investors: up to RM5,000 per issuer and RM50,000 total within a 12-month period 

  • Cooling-off / withdrawal

Where applicable under the ECF framework, investors are given a six (6) business days cooling-off period to withdraw their investment, and investors should be notified if there is a material adverse change relating to an issuer.

Privacy Policy

iPivot collects and uses your personal data to create and manage your account, verify your identity (KYC/AML), facilitate fundraising and investments on the platform, communicate with you, and meet legal/regulatory requirements. We may share data with trusted service providers (such as identity verification, hosting, and payment/trust partners) and with regulators where required. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, retain it only as long as necessary, and you may request access or correction of your personal data by contacting us at compliance@ipivot.asia
