How iPivot Evaluates Issuers

Key areas we assess in issuers

A structured, evidence-led assessment across the factors that matter to investors. The assessment is sector- and stage-aware. Not every metric applies to every company, and the depth and emphasis may vary by sector and stage.

Sector- and stage-aware review
  • Business performance: Revenue growth and consistency, gross margin, contribution margin, EBITDA, EBIT and profitability.
  • Liquidity & balance sheet: Cash position, burn rate, runway, debt levels, current ratio and broader balance-sheet strength.
  • Revenue quality: Recurring versus one-off revenue, customer concentration and the durability of underlying demand.
  • Unit economics: CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC, payback period, AOV and other sector-relevant unit economics where applicable.
  • Operating metrics: MRR, ARR, churn, retention, ARPU, working-capital cycle, debtor days, inventory turnover and capacity utilisation where relevant.
  • Management & governance: Management quality, governance, UBOs, related-party transactions and decision-making controls.
  • Competitive position: IP, licences, market position, scalability and the evidence supporting future growth assumptions.
  • Valuation & terms: Valuation basis, relevant valuation multiples, dilution and proposed fundraising terms.
  • Use of funds: How proceeds are expected to be deployed and whether the raise appears sufficient to reach the next meaningful business milestone.
  • Investor risks: Key downside risks, future funding needs, dependency risks and possible exit pathways.

Why this matters to investors

A more informed market is a stronger market.

◇

Better disclosure

Supports stronger issuer screening and transparency.

↗

Clearer comparison

Helps investors see material differences more easily.

◎

Independent judgement

Investor decisions and risk tolerance remain personal.

iPivot's assessment is intended to support better disclosure, stronger issuer screening and more informed investor decision-making. Investors should still conduct their own assessment and consider their own risk tolerance before investing. Admission to the platform, completion of review or campaign approval does not constitute a recommendation, guarantee of investment performance, guarantee of returns or regulatory approval of an issuer.
